Hi everyone, I am Hayden. Im glad to see that there is such a friendly and active forum for Revolvercigs. i had a Blu for exactly a week before my Revolver Elite came, and i was content with the blu, except for on some occasions, but when i opened and used my Elite (mind you i got it today) i was at least ten times happier with it than i had ever been with the blu. So i am happy to say that i made the switch to the better company. I very much look forward to conversations with others on this forum, I've read a few and everyone seems nice so i hope see ya all around!

Dhezee -
I wonder if you were to order an Elite now, whether it would beat the Blu to your mailbox. Haha.

I am Brad... I am new and have only used my friends Gemini before but I got a starter kit and going to buy more things very soon as they come out or get restocked. I usually don't post a lot to forums though I do read them very very often in general. I was totally worried about buying at first so I just emailed revolvers customer service and they were very helpful in pulling me in all the way. Still waiting for my package to come but I am just assuming by the location it is about right now that it will be here tomorrow. Thanks for reading.

I always fear that I might start trolling, flaming, or flooding the threads because I am easily excitable but I think I can handle dictating myself in a fair demeanor for now anyways. I am also a little confused about the difference between "Automatic and Manual Batteries". Can some one explain, though, it is probably explained somewhere in the forum but it usually takes me several minutes to navigate some of them.

Hi Brad! Welcome!

An automatic battery is activated with suction, sound or vibration. A manual battery has a button that you push to turn it on.

Well, Brad, you can put a disclaimer in your sig-line that reads "if I'm trolling, flaming or flooding - it was the other me..." and we'll understand. :)

Normally we are too ADD here that we will be too sidetracked to notice.

Re: batteries. The difference is in the mechanism by which the battery switches on. The manual battery has a button - you push the button, the e-cig turns on. The stop pushing the button, the cig turns off.

The automatic works on a diaphragm system. When you draw on the unit, the contact moves forward to make a full connection and the e-cig switches on. After you stop inhaling, the contact gets pulled back by the diaphragm so that the Gemini switches off.

I like autos because they are easy and can be used "hands-free." Others dislike them because the autos switch on whenever there is an air-current going through or vibrations (eg. dance club, noisy pub, Zumba class) move the diaphragm to make contact and switch on.
